Visit to Madrid Control Center

Last Thursday, October 24, the students of the 15th ATPL promotion of Flyschool visited the Madrid Control Center in the Madrid town of Torrejón de Ardoz. The ENAIRE body manages air traffic in the Central-North region of Spain, which comprises more than half of the national territory. More than 500 controllers work in the building distributed in a large room that the students could also visit.

In addition, they accessed the simulators where training is provided to the controllers continuously to maintain their level of competence in a Center where more than 2,000 daily flights that take off, land or cross more than half of Spain are monitored, guided and controlled.
